SWR or SilencerCo Weapon Research has now released the RADIUS. This is an affortable and user-configurable rangefinder with an accurate effective range of up to a mile. It runs for 12 hours with only 2 CR123A and can be mounted non 1913 rails both horizontally and vertically. One of the main features is that it does the user to check the range without taking the hand off the weapon system. The MSRP is only $999.
HEARING SAFE. 9MM. HOLSTER-FRIENDLY. INTEGRALLY SUPPRESSED. PERFECT SIGHT-PICTURE.
Do we need to say more?
This is the prototype of the Maxim 9 integrally suppressed pistol made by SilencerCo. Since last year they have made some changes to the project. The Maxim 9 is no longer based off of a Smith and Wesson M&P9, instead they have decided to design a platform from the ground up; it now holds Glock magazines.
The SilencerCo Hybrid is probably the quietest suppressor we have ever tried. The key feature of this product is the versatility, it can be used with so many calibers that we will soon write an article about it.
The Omega 9K is also an incredibly quiet silencer. Its design features a compact 5″ length and a feather-light 8.8 ounces but can still provide hearing safe dB with a 9mm pistol, SMG or 300 Blk rifle. Versatile, small and short but still full-auto rated hearing safe.
The Omega is also an incredibly quiet suppressor, it was mounted on a 300 blk AR-15 and we think it could be around 120 dB.
The Osprey Micro is probably one of the most fun to shoot. Even the biggest warriors on the planet cannot hold a smile while shooting with this suppressor on a 22 LR pistol or carbine.
Here are some of the other suppressors that were displayed at the booth at Shot Show.

Outdoor Research | Topo Waterproof Jacket
This week, at SHOT Show 2016 in Las Vegas, Outdoor Research has released a new jacket for their military/tactical line. The Topo jacket is based on Gore’s Light and Fast military fabric. The main feature of the Topo is flexibility of movement, this is possible with the application of a stretch fabric in key points of the jacket. The cut and the fit is inspired by the Axiom jacket, one of the greatest successes of Outdoor Research.
What is really interesting about the Topo is that even if the jacket stretches it still maintains waterproofness and breathability. It is articulated in order to provide flexibility and free of movements in key spots of the body. The Topo fabric, in coyote, is also designed to be worn under chest-rigs, plate carriers and backpack. In certain spots, during high-intensity activities, both breath-ability and stretch are required for comfort and maximum performance.
The Topo Jacket is available in Multicam and Coyote for a MSRP of approximately $500.
